Walls (ASDIP Concrete)
Walls in ASDIP Concrete are used to design reinforced concrete shear walls and structural walls. Key features:
- Wall geometry: Define height, length, thickness, and boundary elements.
- Material properties: Assign concrete strength, reinforcement grade, and section properties.
- Loads: Apply gravity, lateral (wind/seismic), and point or distributed loads.
- Boundary conditions: Model pinned, fixed, or partially restrained supports and coupling beams.
- Design codes: Supports common international codes (select per project) for strength and serviceability checks.
- Reinforcement detailing: Calculates required vertical and horizontal reinforcement, spacing, development lengths, and produces bar schedules.
- Interaction with frames: Combine wall and frame elements, consider diaphragm action and tributary loads.
- Stability checks: Performs slenderness, overturning, sliding, and biaxial bending checks.
- Output & reports: Generates detailed calculation sheets, diagrams (axial load–moment interaction, stress distributions), and printable reports.
